scholarship in Canada.
Granted by the Canadian Merit Scholar-
ship Foundation, each Loran Award
comprises an annual stipend of $8,000
matched by a tuition waiver up to the
same amount, mentorship, and access to
summer internship opportunities. The
awards are renewable for up to four years
of undergraduate study and are tenable at
any of 24 Canadian universities. More
than 80 one-time awards are also granted
annually.
